GOING FOR GOLD

The publisher of Luxury Travel Magic, Lisa TE Sonne, won the Gold for Destination Writing for an International Newspaper in the 2013 Travel Writing competition of NATJA (The North American Travel Journalists Association) for her article on Paddling the Pacuare River in Costa Rica. She has won previous NATJA awards for stories on African safaris in Kenya, hang gliding for the first time, and the cultural magnetism of the Baltics. Previously, she enjoyed writing for an Academy Award winning documentary, and Emmy winning television series on cultural anthropology.
